Hi

To get into the BIOS you usually press the Delete key a few times (the one
in the cluster of six by home and end) just after start up. Although as
someone has already pointed out the key you have to tap varies depending on
the chipset or motherboard in your PC. And of course you will need sighted
assistance as there will be no speech.

Also and this fooled me when I first did it. If you change the boot drive to
your CD Rom and then try and boot from your XP CD. You need to press the
space bar a few times to get it to work. If you are not quick enough or wait
too long it will just bypass the CD and boot into windows as normal.
