Thanks for the recommendation, Roger. I will download Recuva and see if it
will do the trick. There is no Recycle Bin on an SD card, so the file
cannot be retrieved from there.

Have you looked in Recycle Bin? If it's not there and you need recovery
software I've used Recova very successfully but not on a SD card so I don't
know how that will work.
Recova is free and from the same people as CCleaner. A Google for Piriform
(the writers) will find the site or www.download.com will take you there.

Hello,
I have deleted a file from an SD card by mistake. As soon as I realised
what I had done, I removed the card from my PC so as not to damage my
chances of getting the file back.
I've had a look on the internet for programs which might allow me to get my
file back and have found there are plenty of options, but can anyone
recommend one which is known to be accessible?
