Hi Kevin,

That looks like a very good deal. I wasn't really thinking of getting a combined printer/scanner as I've already got the Epson 1650 scanner. However,, if yours is fast enough, I might go for it, if only to save space. Can you let me know how quickly it will scan an A4 page?

Best.

Robert.

hi, we've just bought one of these all in one things. printer, scanner,
photo copier. also has card slots for MMC and SD cards and the like for
transfering photos. it's the canon mp170. it's a colour inkjet printer. cost
me £70 online from PCWorld. it's USB also and windows XP found it with no
problem. i did a lot of research before buying this one and i couldn't find
anything similar at a better price. i wasn't really looking at units with
just a printer so can't help along those lies. but i'd sure go for canon
again.

Hi Folks,

I rarely use snail mail for sending letters these days but the need did
arise this morning. I typed out the letter and then, when I tried to print
it, my HP Deskjet 690C failed to do the job. I decided a long time ago
that
when this happened, I'd scrap it and look for another one that didn't cost
an arm and a leg for replacement cartridges. Ideally, I'd like one capable
of producing good reproductions of the photographs my wife takes with her
digital camera. At present, she is getting them done at Sainsbury's If
anyone has recommendations, please can they pass them on to me.

Best.

Robert.
