Hi Paul.

How about Dragon Naturally Speaking with a voice recorder? You can set up Dragon to take dictation from a voice recorder and there is an app for IOS and Android devices which can act as a voice input source for it, either as a remote microphone or a voice recorder. There is a kit for Dragon available called the mobile edition which comes with a Philips Voice Tracer digital recorder, you can find out more at www.nuance.co.uk.

All the best and good luck, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] Recommendations for Transcribing devices!

Hi All,

I have a friend who wants to put audio files into written word using
Microsoft Word. Does anyone on here have recommendations for the type of
transcribing device that would be most suitable to a blind person who wants
to do this kind of work.

Many thanks,

Paul.
