Hi Clive
I thought that when you plug in the mains or USB lead, you pressed the up or
down arrow keys till it says something like 'AC Mode' or ' AC Mode Set',
then press the centre of the joystick to confirm.
Kind regards,

Hi Richard,
I've tried that, and no matter which button I press - the Stop recording
button, the off button or the button central to the joystick area of the
device whilst connecting the USB lead, it still switches on and doesn't go
into charge mode.
Please tell me what I've misunderstood from your instructions. Also, does it
matter whether you connect the USB lead to the computer or to the mains
adaptor?
Thanks,
Clive

Clive,
I'm sure that you'll remember that you need to press the stop button while
inserting the USB to turn the unit into recharging mode. Also, if it helps,
the USB end which fits into the bottom of the unit is roughly the shape of
the socket into which it fits. Notice that it's slightly thicker than the
lightning lead for iPhones, and the slightly shorter of the two longer edges
goes at the top - to fit the socket.
HTH,
Richard

Subject: [access-uk] Re-charging an Olympus DM450
Hi all,
Apologies for the blatantly stupid or elementary question, but:
I have an Olympus DM450, which I haven't used in a while, and will soon need
to use again. Please could someone remind me who supplies Olympus talking
recorders, so that I can get a reminder of what type of lead I'll need to
charge the batteris, and if necessary, to buy one?
Thanks,
Clive
