Sounds like a great idea. The server already have your emails, so sending them back won't make any difference. I hope my ISP take up this scheme. Those who use Plusnet email will have noticed many, if not most messages, being prefixed with (spam). Seems as I've discovered this is due to Plusnet's new anti-spam filtering which has to be trained by email account holders. Turns out you can train the filters by forwarding emails that aren't spam to: notspam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While email that is spam, but not marked as such can be forwarded to: spam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Presume this is an entirely automatic process on the servers, but some might fear their emails are gone through by a tech person, although I doubt it very much. Seems the last thing Plusnet - and most other email providers want is work involving humans. Would be interesting to hear if anyone elses's ISP is doing similar. Also, I'll be looking to see if this post comes back marked as spam!
