Hi Mike
Two methods I wouldn't suggest are daisy players such as the Victor
Stream and Booksense. Yes they can play pdfs, and you can save
bookmarks in them, but I find two problems. For you who want technical
info, the voices on there won't really do punctuation, so it will be
difficult for you to read programming stuff. Also, the next problem is
if the pdf has tables, you won't get the structure. A way that might
work is what I do for uni. If it is possible, get a small netbook with
a screen reader on it. I also hear you can do pdf on IPhone, but I'm
not sure how good or accessible it is.
