Hi Andy.

I've only just come into this thread so please excuse if you've already 
covered this ground.

If I'm understanding you correctly, your desktop icon for outlook express is 
pointing elsewhere?

To launch outlook express so that you can send and receive e-mail, can you 
not launch from the program menu?  If the icon in your program menu is also 
incorrect, you could launch outlook express by navigating through program 
files and finding the application there.

To fix the icons, it's probably best to delete those existing one's, 
navigate through program files to outlook express, locate the application 
and then create a new icon from the file menu.
