Hi Amanda, run the app and then type exactly as follows: get_iplayer --type=radio --get "name of program" and that should download the program you want. As you probably saw on this thread I only started using get iplayer yesterday but this is what I gathered from the beginners' guide and it worked. The guide is really good to get you started. A hint, you may need to use your screen reader's virtual cursor to read the feedback get iplayer gives you. I've tried this get downloads and I don't think it's going to work? There's always the option to plan in advance and record onto TV-Onics and transfer then record to MP3: More time-consuming, but at least we can still grab programmes. Who do we write to to obtain more definite information from the BBC. Of course we can also contact In Touch to quizz the BEEB. I've just read the following message on the Radio Downloader site: "Following a request from the BBC, I have removed the Radio Downloader source and installers. They will return shortly minus the BBC Radio Provider plugin (e.g. the ability to download BBC Radio programmes). My apologies for the disappointment that this will cause but I hope that you will understand. I believe that the BBC is planning to offer <http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/our_work/services/radio/other/radio_drm.html> downloads of radio programmes from 2014." So the BBC couldn't leave things be until they actually have a working alternative in place. We know that this 2014 promise from the BBC is just meaningless. I am truly outraged. Not a second thought of the licence payer's needs. RD no longer works. Any suggestions for an alternative radio downloader please? Amro
