Along the same lines,RSS is also a method by which people keep up with their favourite blogs as well as news sites. We're currently developing an RSS feed for the weblog on my website www.bbc.co.uk/ouch/weblog/ I think an accessible RSS agregator could really help visually impaired people edit the net down to manageable proportions and make everything much easier to read. Basically you create a list of your favourite sites. When they update, your RSS reader program updates too. So you get the very latest stuff from all your favourite websites all on one page ... Put simply. The BBC has such a feed as do Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph I think. Perhaps Sandra will correct me if I have got this wrong. douglas On 17 Feb 2005 at 8:31, Mark Threadgold wrote: > What is an RSS reader please? > > -- Douglas Harrison ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq http://www.bbc.co.uk/ This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated.
