A message on another list mentions a new report by RNIB on freelance musicians
and access to work. As pointed out in that post, the comments contained within
the report might just as well apply to ATW generally, but I post this because
the link I give below might just be a lead-in or general gateway for those who
are musicians looking around for general info and leads to more specialist
stuff.

Go to:

http://www.rnib.org.uk/xpedio/groups/public/documents/publicwebsite/public_musicreport.hcsp#P3_211

The report is available in full to download in a Word or text document.

To end with, a brief overview contained on the above page.
HTH.
Overview of the report
a.. A brief outline of the AtW scheme outlining what the scheme is, who is
eligible to apply and what support is available for freelance musicians
b.. Findings from the interviews with six individuals were interviewed, and
their case studies illustrate the positive and negative experiences of the
scheme
c.. Eight recommendations and a conclusion on how the scheme could be
improved for freelance musicians who are blind and partially sighted.
