Oh dear! It's the dreaded long book problem again! This has been an issue since
the service was put out to test last year. I expect I am in the minority here
and I will be told that this problem only affects a small number of books in
proportion to the whole library, but I do not believe the service should have
been released with this problem unresolved. There are two issues which in my
experience can cause problems: the length of a book and where it comes from.
these are both issues with which we should not have to be concerned. Using
Voice Dream Reader, I have had problems reading books sourced from
HarperCollins.
With the long book problem, the only solution I have found is to unzip the
downloaded file, zip the component folders into separate zip files and then
load them into a location from which I can add them to Voice Dream Reader. As I
don't use Speak On, I don't know if this procedure will work with that program.

Hi all,
I have just downloaded a book from the reading services. The book is in 3
parts, (3 disks). All 3 parts were zipped in the same folder. Using speakOn I
managed to listen to the first part, but, I am unable to move onto the second
or the third parts. I tried to load them as separate books without any luck.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get these parts play?
Thank you
