I suspect it's a matter of security one way or the other.

payment?
Hi Henry,
I don't but it's weird. If they used GoCardless, then their transaction fees
would be less than those of a credit card, so I don't understand it.
We do have the direct debit facility by the way, as I do use GoCardless <Smile>.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] RNIB and withdrawal of the direct Debit method of payment?
Good Evening Folks
I called the RNIB shop this afternoon to order some Loc Dots and was told that
I could no longer use my direct debit facility as this has now been withdrawn
by the RNIB to all customers. The RNIB representative was very apologetic and
vague.
I therefore paid for my goods using my credit card.
Does anyone know why the Direct Debit service has been withdrawn?
Best wishes
Henry
