Hi Pele

It certainly throws up some quirks! (smile).  I don't want to knock what is
a really great way of reading books, particularly during these immensely
frustrating times where the postal service and the producing of Talking
Books on CD is very haphazard.  But imagine buying material from the likes
of Amazon or iTunes, and you couldn't listen to the entire album, only got
half a downloaded Kindle book, or two copies of the same download?  People
wouldn't wear the 'We are working on it' excuse for months on end would
they?

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown

Hi Jackie

One thing that makes me laugh about the RNIB Reading Service is, if I go to
download a book I have already downloaded, it sometimes says it was
downloaded on 01/01/1900, or a similar date.

I don't think the Reading Service was around then.
