This was precisely my experience too Paul.  I think RNIB should simply have 
sent a message to all TB members offering a month's trial while they checked 
the status of everyone's subs and confirmed with LAs that it was ok to transfer 
membership.  I know that the perception is that there are some blind people who 
will criticise RNIB whatever they do, but I think in this instance this 
potentially important development in giving access to their stock of books has 
gone off at half cock.
