Hi Richard,

I responded to all queries yesterday. As I said before, we have a lot of users
who are really enjoying the service. I quite appreciate that this service isn't
for everybody and that is why we have DAISY CDs and USB sticks available to
access the same catalogue but in a different format.

If you are not happy with the service then please email me directly and I will
arrange a refund for you, should this be required, if you don't want to receive
the other formats available.

The forums are checked on a regular basis but please feel free to email me or
contact the Overdrive team (overdrive@xxxxxxxxxxx) and we will be able to
respond to your query directly.

Many thanks,
Louisa.

What is so amazing to me is that, apart from Louisa's mails - which haven't
properly addressed the dissatisfaction being expressed - RNIB has failed to
respond to the considerable degree of concern being expressed by a group of
technically very competent users on this list.

It seems to me that RNIB has taken a decision without taking into
consideration the views of its service users - as expressed on this list -
and it has certainly not responded to the criticism of the arrangements
which it has made.

Louisa, could you or someone else within the organisation please oblige?

Richard
