Hi everyone, as many of you will already know, RNIB are asking customers to change the way we purchase items and pay for magazine subscriptions etc and one of the options is to create an account, and authorising RNIB to debit the customer's current account when appropriate. This is the course of action I have taken, and today I decided to purchase an item from the Online Shop. I was a little surprised when it came to pay, because the only option I was given for payment was by credit card. I rather expected there to be an option so that the new account could be used for payment. Maybe it was there, and I did not look carefully enough, but I would like to hear any views on this matter. It was not a problem, as I used a credit card, but it would have been good to have the opportunity of using the newly set up account.
