The instructions seem to suggest that you can search your recorded files by
the date shown on the display.

Clearly, some-one who has no effective vision would need to treat it like a
Phillips machine.

Hello folks, just a quick note here.  A friend bought one of these and told
me that it won't find a file.  For example if you made a note about
gardening, you can't go to that file direct you have to play through your
entries until you find it just like you did with the Phillips memo.  Is that
right?

It is a small voice / note recorder. It is neat and seems to have good
functionality, for some-one with vision to see the display.
It will take many recordings, for over 70 hours on the unit. Ideal for
partially sighted students I would guess.
