The instructions seem to suggest that you can search your recorded files by the date shown on the display. Clearly, some-one who has no effective vision would need to treat it like a Phillips machine. A friend bought one of these and told me that it won't find a file. For example if you made a note about gardening, you can't go to that file direct you have to play through your entries until you find it just like you did with the Phillips memo. Is that right? It is neat and seems to have good functionality, for some-one with vision to see the display. It will take many recordings, for over 70 hours on the unit. Ideal for partially sighted students I would guess.
