Hello Ian,

This reads as if the DWP have put the measures in place for blind and partially
sighted people, while the #RNIB have been campaigning following complaints
from people with sight loss…so in terminology terms, this is DWP 1, RNIB nil.

Perhaps I should resign my membership on the the inverted Marx Brothers
principle of: “Why would I try to join a club that wouldn’t hav me as a member!”

Best,
Clive

An example of the confusion which clearly exists on this issue within RNIB is
illustrated in the first paragraph of a press release I’ve just received from
them and quote below.
the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has released a new report today
outlining reforms to ensure that blind and partially sighted customers will
receive their letters etc in the format they need them (braille, audio, large
print, electronic). This is a significant step forward - RNIB has campaigned on
the issue for a long time following numerous complaints from people with sight
loss.

So which are we?
