Carol - I've been using express rip and express burn from NCH Swift Sound
for some time now, and find it very accessible, and the free version does
all I want, including database retrieval for track info:

Hi,

I've only considered it because I had two major crashes this year and now
have to re-install something for ripping CD's, if I don't use Windows Media
Player. I thought therefore I'd look around before putting back some fairly
old software.
