This is a great shame - I was just beginning to get to grips with Nownav -
it seemed both easy to use and potentially very helpful, a lot of work must
have gone into it. If you have a specific e-mail address for sending
complaints to Google I would be very happy to do so.

Today I've had to unpublish the NotNav and NowNav apps from the Android Play
Store and disable billing for these apps in the Cloud Console. You will no
longer be able to install NotNav/NowNav, and all currently installed apps
will stop working.
I was forced to do this because Google have enabled charging for their
Google Maps API. This would have cost me $750+ per month. This is
unsustainable. NotNav donations are negligible and few are prepared to pay
£10 for NowNav.
If you've paid for NowNav, feel free to ask Google for a refund, explaining
exactly why you want your money back.
In the four years since I first publish NotNav I believe it have been
genuinely useful to some. Its a shame that Google's greed has finally killed
it off.
