Have you tried shift+control n? That's the short cut on Word 2007 for
getting into "draft" mode ("edit" on 2003). Worth a try although I suspect
the problem is perhaps connected to something more fundamental.

Best wishes

Oggetto: [access-uk] Microsoft Word 2010

Hi

I currently use Windows 7, Office 2010 and Jaws 14.

When I receive a word document from another person it shows as “Protected
View” and I can only read it using the Jaws cursor. Do I need to configure
Word like we used to in Office 2003 to show “Normal View”?

I would appreciate assistance as it is rather annoying.

Regards.

Phil Roberts
