Take a look at the link below.  Look in the FAQ for I have poor DAB
reception. - What other aerial options are available to me?

Folks,

If anyone yet owns a Sonus-1XT, do you happen to know if/how you can
connect
an external aerial to the unit please? The manual appears to make no
reference to this facility, but I'm sure I read in the original
specification that you can use an external instead of the internal
aerial,
but can't locate anywhere where this might connect!
