www.bbc.co.uk/digitalradio
you can type in your postcode and find out whether you should be able to receive the national BBC stations in your area. If it says you should be able to receive them then you might have to try moving the radio around, altering the arial position etc, doing an auto tune each time you try a new arial/radio position to see if you can get them.

If the Sonus is the same as the Evoke, you unscrew the internal antenna, this allows one to connect an external antenna via an F plug. If anyone yet owns a Sonus-1XT, do you happen to know if/how you can connect an external aerial to the unit please? The manual appears to make no reference to this facility, but I'm sure I read in the original specification that you can use an external instead of the internal aerial, but can't locate anywhere where this might connect!
