Hi Steve,

In point of fact, you don't know which info is actually being displayed,
since holding the info button will always give you whatever the scrolling
text which accompanies the broadcast is saying at that instant. Glad to hear
it'll be sorted out, I'll keep monitoring the Pure site.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

No, I too haven't got the nultiplex info to speak either. The trouble with
the way it works currently, is that you don't know what info you are on,
until you hold the button down. I don't know why it couldn't have just read
the info as you pressed the button, especially if it is set to full speech.
Seems a bit of a misnoma, if it doesn't automagically speak the info when
you just press the button, it's a funny way they do it IMHO. Maybe they'll
fix it with a software upgrade one day.

All the best

Hi Graham,

I too am well pleased with it - the sound quality's not at all bad imho.

Incidentally, don't know whether you or Steve have an answer to this, but
there is one area of the screen that doesn't get spoken as far as I can
tell: if you press the Info button but don't hold it, you cycle through a
sequence of display options such as date/time, name of multiplex, signal
strength etc. I haven't managed to get the multiplex name and current signal
strength to speak - can you do it?

Paul.

Hi Paul

I have got it sorted, thanks.

I have now tuned to the U K option and have them all now. It was just my
ignorance of the menu button.

All stations are very clear, I am very please with this radio.

Graham

Graham,

It might be that you're out of the range of the BBC multiplex. Try going to
the Tuning menu and select automatic scan for UK, just to see if it finds
you any more. I'd also go to www.pure.com - you can type in your postcode
and it should list you any known stations that you can get from your
location.

Paul.

How do you manually go through the stations.

I turn the tuning knob one notch at a time and I just keep going through the
same few stations.

Life, one word, virgin D1 temp classic fm rock, crime time radio, talk sport
and call

There ar no BBC channels there

Appreciate any help

Graham

Roy,

Thanks, but where is the starting point of the removable part? At the very
base, there appears to be a large nut, which is done up as though it
shouldn't be undone! So where does the screw part start?

Paul.

If the Sonus is the same as the Evoke, you unscrew the internal antenna,
this allows one to connect an external antenna via an F plug.
