Hi Paul No I have not Being completely blind it's a bit difficult, I will get my son to have a go Graham -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Holliman Sent: 20 March 2005 14:25 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Quick Sonus-1XT Question Hi Graham, I too am well pleased with it - the sound quality's not at all bad imho. Incidentally, don't know whether you or Steve have an answer to this, but there is one area of the screen that doesn't get spoken as far as I can tell: if you press the Info button but don't hold it, you cycle through a sequence of display options such as date/time, name of multiplex, signal strength etc. I haven't managed to get the multiplex name and current signal strength to speak - can you do it? Paul. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Graham smith Sent: 20 March 2005 13:49 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Quick Sonus-1XT Question Hi Paul I have got it sorted, thanks. I have now tuned to the U K option and have them all now. It was just my ignorance of the menu button. All stations are very clear, I am very please with this radio. Try going to the Tuning menu and select automatic scan for UK, just to see if it finds you any more. I'd also go to www.pure.com - you can type in your postcode and it should list you any known stations that you can get from your location. Paul. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Graham smith Sent: 19 March 2005 20:42 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Quick Sonus-1XT Question Hi Paul Can you help me I only have about six stations How do you manually go through the stations. At the very base, there appears to be a large nut, which is done up as though it shouldn't be undone! So where does the screw part start? Paul. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Roy Bannister Sent: 19 March 2005 18:25 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Quick Sonus-1XT Question If the Sonus is the same as the Evoke, you unscrew the internal antenna, this allows one to connect an external antenna via an F plug.
