Hi Husna, I hope you’re keeping well.
Yes it is absolutely fine to buy Microsoft office directly from Amazon, however
I suggest you purchase a downloadable copy as the key/activation link will be
sent to you by email rather than a physical card. If you purchase the 365 home
plan, you can share your office benefits without to 6 family members including
yourself. You can create children accounts Who is Microsoft which you can have
control over but you can still share your subscription benefits with these
accounts and each child will receive 1 TB of cloud storage space as well as
access to office applications on their mobile and computer devices. Also it
might be worth checking with your school if they have a Microsoft office
license because certain licenses allow children to get access to free copies of
office as part of the schools licensing agreement. As regards sharing content,
its account is independent unless you create a shared workspace to which your
children can access files for instance you could create a folder on your
OneDrive and share it with your children it’s a place in documents you want
them to see. I hope this makes sense and best of luck to you. London

Subject: [access-uk] Re: Questions about Microsoft 365
Hi Husna,
I would say to buy from Microsoft, the Home plan, around £79 per year. Each
family member has to set up their own Microsoft account.
Have a look on the Office365 website where you can find all the details.

Mike

Hi,
I have been dithering over which version of office to buy since I got my new
computer. I thought I would get office 2019 or 2016 as I didn’t want to move
onto the subscription model but as I need my children to use it as well I am
thinking I have to bite the bullet and get Microsoft 365 as 2019 only seems to
be for one user and one device which is so limited! This makes sense doesn’t it?
I have some other questions
1. Is it fine to buy office from amazon.co.uk<http://amazon.co.uk/> or is it
easier and more accessible to buy it from Microsoft itself?
2. Do all the users have to have Microsoft accounts or just the account holder
and some of the others can have local accounts?
3. How do I install office for a different user? Do I sign in with my
credentials, install it, sign out and when they sign in with their credentials
the office will still be available?
4. Is it okay and secure to upload any document
To your personal volt on the cloud even a document with passwords or financial
information, or is it best not to do that?
5. Would other users in the family be able to access these documents?
Thank you, Husna
