No it doesn't. It doesn't do very much at all really. As far as I know, the skytalker will only read what channel you are on so you can go up and down the channels and press to find out what the programme is about and that's about it really.

from what I heard, if you can get into the recorded material list, and press ok, on a programme, when it plays you can then get info on what the programme is from the sky talker, but it doesn't read the EPG, or the programme guide. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Farley" <j.farley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Martin and thank you.

Do you know about the recorded material?

Subject: [access-uk] Question on Sky Talker

Hello all,

I have, at last, got a Sky Talker unit suitable for an HD box.

I find that if I go up or down the stations or key in a channel number
directly then speech is produced.

If I try to go into either the Sky Guide or Recorded material all I get is
"No Audio Description Available".

Is this standard behaviour?

Thanks.
