Joan,
Has your friend recently upgraded to Hal 6.02? This began to happen on my
system
once 6.02 was installed and I now have to do as Mark suggested i.e. Windows key
plus
D or M before I can navigate the desktop. In Hal 6.01 it tended to read the
task bar
repetitively on boot up. In fixing this Dolphin may have created another
problem - but I
hope not!
If the problem persists your friend would be well advised to phone Dolphin Tech
Support(0845 130 5353).
