Hi Graham and John,
Hi Graham.
I totally agree. I got rid of Google desktop search and it was the best thing i've done in ages.

I have found it not to be particularly accessible and it seems to block popups and other websites. I would get rid of it.

Subject: [access-uk] Pro's and con's of Google desktop
Hi all
I know how useful Google desktop is as a search facility, but I'd like listers views on the following:
1. How much does it slow the computer down in normal running. 2. Does it conflict with any programmes? 3. Does it get picked up as a virus/spyware by security software?
I'm using Xp, Office 2003 pro, Nod32, hitman pro, and JFW5.1.
Thanks very much
Barry
