The issue, has seemed to resolved it’s self.
Keeping my fingers well crossed.
Hopefully, it was an amazon server problem.

Mine seems to have warmed to her tasks now so perhaps it was something at their
end because if I hadn’t set it up correctly, I wouldn’t have got a peep out of
her. Perhaps their server is being flooded with Alexa Christmas presents?

Hi Jackie. If i ask it the time, or the weather, or something small, it seems
to work fine.
But, if i ask it to play a radio station, it will play, until i ask it to stop,
but it will keep restarting the station again.
I thought about asking amazon. But generally, they don’t have a clue. lol.

Interestingly enough, I set up my Sonos Move speaker this morning that I
received for Christmas from my husband. I opted for the Alexa service on it,
and all seemed to go well with setting that up. But I noticed she was really
sluggish between asking her a question and getting her responses. I checked
and re-checked everything, and decided she might be having an off day since I
couldn’t find anything wrong. My other Echo devices seem to come back with
responses normally so not sure why the Move is a little sluggish so perhaps
it’s their server? A belter of a speaker though!

Hi, is anyone having any issues with their, echo devices today?
I have the echo dot, second generation.
When i woke up, i could not stop my alarm.
Voice commands, seem to be very sluggish.
I have tried doing a reset, but makes no difference.
Everything was working fine last night.
