Hi Andy

Another thing that I do, which might be easier to maintain than a web page, is to make full use of the Favourites facility in Internet Explorer. You can have Windows XP set up to display your favourites in the start menu, and this makes them very easily accessilbe, and you can create different categories (folders) for different types of material.

Hi Douglas and James.

I downloaded both the Listen Again and Radio packages from the site you provided and yes, access is very good and simple to use. I'm not sure however if the Listen Again service will actually suit me as I would like to listen to other broadcasts, such as those from the ACB's Main Menu and the Blind Cool Tec site. So perhaps my web-page will be worth pursuing further. Nevertheless, If I wish to listen again to Bob Harris, it will probably be easier to use the BBC Radio Player. Thanks for all your help and comments re this subject. Best wishes. Andy

Hi Andy

As I've said before, I really think you would be better off using the BBC Radio Player, it's far easier to use than the "listen again" pages and the audio is exactly the same. This will give you the added benefit of being able to use the same interface to access all of the BBC's radio on line, without haivng to cope with how each station displays its Listen Again web pages and links. Here is the direct link to the programme you want:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/radio2/aod.shtml?radio2/albumchart
(make sure it doesn't wrap over two lines).

I have just tested it and can hear the audio without any problems, so if it doesn't work then it is probably an issue on your end, and it's far more likely to be something to do with real player or your internet connection than with JAWS. The main problem that might occur with JAWS would be the software somehow not recognising that you are on a link and so not activating it properly, but from what you say, it seems that this is happening as expected.

I hope this has helped.

best wishes

James

Hi all.

Can someone please check out the BBc's Radio 2 page at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/albumchart/ and click on the link titled "Listen Again." The link is simply making a click sound when I press enter on it. I've been trying this link all week and now feel that I have a problem at my end with JAWS.

Thanks.

Best wishes.
Andy
