Hi Kevin,

You have to select the voice you want, and hit the Make Default button,
before you can disable the voice that is already the default.

All the best

Hi Sandra,

I have already been in that menu, and yes their is a disable button
when I try to disable the Microsoft voices is tells me that this can
not be done as this is the default voice I know it isn't the default
voice on the computer so I don't quite understand what is going on.

But thanks for your help maybe you can still help me or maybe some one
else can.

Hello Kevin,
You're in the wrong menu. Go to the options menu and select voice
options
which is the first entry on the menu. Then tab to the tree view of
voices.
Select the voice you want to disable, and then tab to the disable
button and
hit the space bar. When you've disabled all the voices you want, tab
to
okay and press the space bar. Don't press enter because it doesn't
always
work. Incidentally, the select audio device is in case you want the
weather
to go to an MP3 player.
Hope this is of some use.

Cheers,
Sandra.
