Hi Mike Many thanks for your reply. I have spoken to Audible and was told that this problem does happen sometimes, so I am now going to download the book to an IPod nano and hope that it will be successful. Hi Jenry, This may not solve your problem, but have you tried playing the download on your PC? If you get the same funny noises there, then it might be worth having another chat with Audible. Another option is to download the enhanced format part and play it on your PC; a bit of a pain having to sit in front of the computer all the time. Plextor ought to have a player that supports enhanced format. Hi Everyone I would be very grateful if someone could offer some advice or explanation on the following: I have been downloading books successfully from Audible.co.uk for several months onto an Sd card. A few weeks ago I downloaded “the Cuckoo Calling” by Robert Galbraith. Unfortunately, the second part of this book was corrupted with squelching sounds etc. I spoke to Audible and they suggested changing to the enhance format-which of course does not work with my PTN2 player. After several attempts downloading Audible refunded my credit. I chose another book which downloaded successfully in two parts. I purchased “the Cuckoo Calling” yesterday and experienced the same problem yet again. I can hear the corrupted part two of the download via my laptop, although the sound volume is very low. Has anyone had a similar problem with this particular book? Please can someone advise? Best wishes Henry
