It sounds like you have a hardware problem, whether it could be overheating or bad memory might be difficult to say but the clue would be in the beep codes when it starts up (or fails to rather). Could it even be overheating? Also can anyone tell me if their could be a problem with the memory that would mean I would have replace it and would I be better to contact HP for technical assistance rather than my local independent PC store.
