Tested with Jaws 5.10 on XP Pro. Same problem, however a workaround of turning off the page refreshes seems to sort out the problem. There is a flash powered magnifying glass at the top of the page. All, I've been trying to read a press release on the page given below, but eac time the page loads I can only use the arrow key to move a few lines down the page before Jaws goes silent and refuses to read either the page or anything else open on the desktop. I would very much appreciate any feedback from other screen readers on their experiences on this page: http://www.huntswood.com/about-us/news-detail/dsid_457 If you could let me know which screen reader you are using, I can report back to the person who mailed me the link and help them unravel the problem.
