Hi Catherine,
I too can't read messages on here posted by one particular person, though it
might not be the same one.
They read like messages a few years ago when we were advised not to post to
lists in HTML, and someone forgot. I get half a sentence of normal text
usually from the middle of the message, with the rest reading like a lot of
extraneous code.
I'm using Outlook rather than checking my emails online.

Hi,
I can never read e-mails from a certain person on this list. When I
commented on this the other day someone suggested going into the view
menu and choosing a different encoding. I've chosen several different
"western" ones and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Can anyone
suggest anything? I'm using Firefox but have tried in Internet
Explorer as well. Can anyone tell me what encoding I should have it
set to? And is there any other way around this by saving the page in
a certain format or something? It's really bugging me not being able
to read e-mails from this person in the middle of a conversation...and
it seems nobody else has the problem...
