You can certainly move to the top of a document etc  with an l chord.  I
read that Humanware are no longer supporting the apex as of the beginning of
this week if I remember correctly.  Cheers!  Graham

Yep, this appears to be a bug in iOS 14.4.

I don't know the Apex, but if there is a command to move to top of screen,
you might want to try that after panning each page.

All the bst

Subject: [access-uk] Problem reading Kindle Books

Hi all.

I'm desperately hoping someone can help me out here.  I read Kindle books in
braille with the Apex notetaker paired with the Ipod Touch 6th generation
with no problems. However, since the recent IOS update, when I reach the
bottom of a page and pan to the next page with the Apex it jumps two pages
and if I go on panning it turns a page after every line.  It's very strange
because a sighted friend has told me that it's turning pages correctly on
the screen, and when I turned the speech on it read correctly as well.  It's
just that for some reason the Apex isn't in sync with the screen when it
comes to turning pages.  I know there are other options for reading Kindle
books but I just love reading braille and can't stand listening to synthetic
voice reading a book. I've spoken to Humanware and they seem to think it has
something to do with the IOS update but they couldn't throw any light on why
the Apex is behaving like that.  If anyone can suggest anything to fix this
I shall be eternally grateful.  It's all the more frustrating because I'm in
the middle of a brilliant book and it would be nice if I could get to the
end of it.

Regards,
Valerie Pickles.
