Hi Mike.

In the past, i've used all of the major brands or had experience trying to get them up and running. Epson and HP are usually straight forward to get up and running. I do not like lexmark or dell, dell is just lexmark rebadged. Canon are also ok though HP and Canon are pretty pricey for cartridges. Brother aren't bad either if you're considering a lazer printer, the driver install is pretty instant and they're really easy to get up and running. If you go for any of the above, the following site has some really good compatible cartridges as well as genuine orriginals at very reasonable prices:

all the best,

Hello list,

Not really an accessibility question since most f us have little use for a printer other than to print stuff for others eyes but here goes...

Over the weekend I had the usual hair tearing-out and swearing a lot experience of trying to get my Dell laser printer driver installed for Win 7.

I never got it working and judging from a Google search I'm not the only one to have problems with Dell printers under Win 7.

So I'm looking to ditch the Dell and get another printer.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Mike
