Hi J:
All you need to do now is keep the flakes of fingertip skin
from dropping off!

I now  use some sort of  spirit to cleanse my fingers prior
to using a Braille display.

David, you gave me the kick-start I needed to sort out my
PowerBraille display when you mentioned yours, so I've done
it and the outcome has been better than I expected.  And I
now have it running on my Vista laptop by using one of those
serial to USB converters.
