Hi Mark,
Do you know which of the eight GeForce 2 cards you
have?

George.

HI George,

It occurred to me as soon as I sent the message I
realised uyou'd be at Brum, so no problem *Smile*.
I'm on a GeForce 2 from NVIDIA, and according to
Tris and Wally, there should be recent Forceware
available on the NVIDIA site. Trouble is I can't
quite place it though!

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Mark,
Sorry I've been away observing Sight Village this
week, and so I am just getting back to e-mail
civilisation.

It should not matter whether or not you install or
Upgrade DirectX 9 first or later. That said,
personally I'd do it now, but then check back on
the Windows Update site again as there is at least
one Critical Update. (I know! [expletive
deleted])

However, please remind me of the video card you
have, and I will try to point you in the right
direction for the drivers.

Once you have upgraded the drivers, go back to the
Windows Update site, and just check to see if the
process has identified any later drivers that
specifically relate to XP.

I know it's a pain, but quite often these guys
just do not know if the dog is wagging the tail or
quite what.

George.
