When I last dealt with CW two years ago the salesperson claimed they never sold locked phones, a claim I doubted somewhat at the time. However for reasons that aren't important I ended up giving the free contract phone together with the Virgin SIM parted from it's original handset to a relative and the two worked fine. However Andrew has mentioned a potential valid issue. Regards.
