Hi James,

I get about 30 hours of Daisy playback, and about 60 hours of text playback
through the synthesiser.

Yes, it does tell you how far you are through the book in hours.

All the best

I'm certainly thinking about getting either this or the book courier, and
have a couple of questions on the BC's Daisy playback capabilities. What
sort of playing time would you get playing daisy/audio files from one set of
batteries? Does the Book Courier have the ability to tell you how far into
an audio/daisy file you are, in old-fashioned hours, minutes and seconds?
For me, this last one is an indispensible feature on any Daisy player.

James

The main difference is that it doesn't require any interface software.
Having said that, I find the BC Transfer Tool intuitive to use. The
milestone's chief advantages over the BC would be its size and handiness and
the fact that recording notes etc on it is more straightforward.
