Hi,
The Esys 12 is only £975.00 but that doesn't have enough cells for you.
I believe the Smart Beatle has 14, but Sight And Sound sell that one.
Our Esys 24 is £1,695.00 so you may not consider that affordable. As its name
implies, it has 24 cells, a nice display.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Re: Portable braille displays
Hi,
I've read mixed reviews of the Orbit readers... people say that the dots often
fail and it needs cleaning virtually everyday. I've also heard about the Safari
and the Focus Blue...
I'm looking to hook it up to my Iphone SE2 via Bluetooth. Cell-wise, probably
20 or so, dependent on price.
Cheers,
BJ

Hi BJ,
What device do you want to connect to and how many cells are you looking at?
Could you mention the affordable displays you have in mind?

Hi all,
I know there are at least 2 “affordable” Braille displays on the
market. Could somebody tell me which one they prefer and why? I am
looking to purchase one to connect to my I-phone, purely to write
notes.
Thanks,
BJ
