I think that she is looking for a portable CD-player but, as you point out
here, these devices would play both mp3 and DAISY. Do they also play standard
audio CDs?

Hi,

Yes, there are several. The Plextalk range of course, the PTN1 and PTN2, the
Humanware Stratus, etc. Or do you just mean a portable MP3 CD Player as
opposed to Daisy? if so, I don't know of any that remember your position.

All the best

Steve

My friend is looking for a portable CD-player on which she wishes to play her
cd-talking books and so needs one which remembers her place. Does such a
thing still exist and, if so, where can it be purchased from?
