[access-uk] Popups?

Hello all,
this is a question from a friend.
He is using AOL8 and every time he logs on the Internet, he is bombarded with
advertisements and his computer crashes and the only way he turns the computer
off. Does anyone know a good popup killer to use with AOL8?
