BBC do have a few programmes available for Podcast download. I myself
download three BBC offerings to enjoy at my leisure.

Subject: [access-uk] Podcasts and Listen again

| In regards to listen again. Won't we one day be able to have an automatic
| downloadable podcast of our favourite show? The technology is out there,
| but I don't think BBC Radio heads allow for this at the moment, or should
I
| say they just haven't gotten around to thinking about giving us the
chance.
| Hopefully in the near future they will have brightened up to the idea so
| that we will be able to download our favourite program in 5 easy automatic
| downloads. I think it would be great to just go to my computer and find
out
| that the latest Travelling Folk is completed its download and ready for
| listening. And if all this is possible, I'd also like to have an automatic
| downloadable podcast of the days TV listings. One could then choose which
| podcast to download, BBC1, ITV2 etc, and listen to it at our leasure.
| Perhaps though, this last idea might be better if it was offered by an
| independent provider such as the likes of the folks at digi guide.
| Perhaps the TV listings as read on VIP On Air could be offered as a
| downloadable podcast. That sure would save me a lot of time checking
several
| different web pages.
