Hi Jackie, I am not Brian, but one advantage is clear. You don't have to connect your 4th gen Ipod to another device to make it talk, and the voices on the Itel are dreadful. Nice to be able to choose the SAPI voice you want that your Ipod uses. By the way Brian, thoroughly enjoyed the Podcast, but you only covered music unfortunately. I would have liked to see how the Ipod handled Podcasts, and even movies. I have ordered my own now, so will soon find out <Smile>. In simplistic usability terms, which do you think works best? Previous episodes of the podcast also include a review of the i-Tel product from Cobolt Systems which connects to many of the iPod products to give speech prompts.
