Following your message in reply to Colin, I thought I aught to join in on this thread, as I was the person who mentioned Logmein to Colin in the first place.
In answer to your question regarding whether Logmein can be used with screen readers, I am running it with Supernova, version 9.03 and I find that there are some points where speech stops, but if I remember correctly, these are points at which the sighted person with whom you are sharing is in a position to take control, but please note that I am not certain of this fact for definite.
