Hi Brendan,

The Book Courier serves this purpose admirably, but no further developments
are planned for it so you may not wish to choose a device for which no
further development work is planned.

Hope this helps,

Mike

Hi everyone,

Thanks to Ian and Ray for your very quick and useful responses. I'll
certainly take a look at the suggestions you both have made.

Ray, my preference for tape has always been that a tape can be taken out
of one machine and put into another without losing your place. Since I
do a lot of travelling and like to listen to the same books on trains
and here at home, this is an important consideration. I don't know of
any other format which provides this facility, though I'd be interested
to find one.

Also, I don't really like wearing headphones when at home, since they
are so isolating. However, I think I'm going to have to go with the
flow on this one.

Cheers and thanks again,

Brendan.
